Maintenance and care of glass washing machines

Glass washing machine is a special equipment for cleaning and drying the glass surface in the pre-process of deep-processing technology such as mirror making, vacuum coating, tempering, heat bending and insulating glass uniting. Glass washing machine is mainly composed of transmission system, brushing, water rinsing, pure water rinsing, cold, hot air drying, electronic control system. In normal times, special attention needs to be paid to the maintenance and care of the washing machine.

  1. Glass washing machine lubrication

In order to prevent the wear machine excessive wear caused by gear necrosis, cleaning machine must be properly lubricated. Glass coating process on the glass cleanliness requirements are very high, does not allow a small amount of lubricant into the cleaning area, so it should be selected with good mechanical stability and adhesion of grease. Focus on lubrication for transmission chain, helical gear and transmission shaft.

①Isolate the parts to be lubricated from the cleaning area with a plastic sheet to avoid grease contamination.

② Lubricate the combined surface of the chain, gear, and drive shaft chain roller and chain plate.

③ For the transmission chain and roller, make the lubrication even.

④Wipe off the excess grease with a clean cotton cloth.

2.Calibration of transmission roller conveyor

The washing machine adopts the method of glass clamping, its lower roller conveyor is fixed, and the height of the upper roller conveyor can be adjusted to ensure the uniformity of the glass force and the smoothness of the transmission. The lower roller conveyor is driven by the transmission shaft and gear system, which needs to check the bearings and horizontal and vertical levels regularly. The upper roller conveyor is held in place by two water-lubricated plastic bearings at each end, which can be rotated freely. As the plastic bearings tend to wear out and increase the gap after a period of time, this leads to an imbalance between the two ends of the upper roller conveyor, which makes it easy to form a deflection of the raw glass sheet in the washing machine. For the upper roller conveyor, we increase the fixed end block clamps and measure the height change periodically, and calibrate or replace the bearings accordingly to adjust the pressure of the rollers.

3. Adjustment of disk brush height

Entrance cleaning machine mainly through three rows of a total of 132 disk brush on the surface of the original glass piece of cleaning, while adding liquid polishing agent to ensure that the glass surface can be effectively polished to remove stubborn stains. For the disc brushes to form an effective rolling rub on the glass surface, the height of the disc brush bristle tip is generally set at 1.5 mm below the surface of the glass piece. With the disc brush bristles wear and tear, the height of the disc brush needs to be lowered periodically to ensure the quality of cleaning.

4.Water storage tank and water catch tray cleaning

The entrance washing machine adopts a three-stage water quality step-by-step cleaning and recycling method, and there are 5 water tanks and corresponding water catchment trays under the conveyor table, which are used for storing the cleaning water. As the water itself is polluted while cleaning the glass, some dirt such as polish is usually gradually deposited in the water storage tank, which needs to be flushed and cleaned regularly to ensure the cleanliness of the water.

5.Polishing agent and the spray pipe smooth

Entrance cleaning machine using an aqueous solution of aluminum or cerium oxide as a polishing agent, through the upper part of the spray pipe between the rollers to add to the disk brush in the process of tumbling. Because of the use of solid aqueous polishing agent, when the concentration is too large, it is very easy to lead to nozzle clogging. If a clogged polish nozzle is observed during use, it should be unclogged and the concentration of diluted polish should be adjusted. To clean the polish and spray hose, follow the steps below.

①Disassemble the cleaning machine plate, raise the upper roller conveyor of the cleaning machine, and turn off the power and water supply valve.

② Loosen the fixing bolts at both ends of the spray pipe and remove the spray pipe.

③ Use a high-pressure water gun to pump pure water from the inlet of the nozzle into the nozzle to form water pressure, observe the water coming out of each nozzle, and use a paper clip to unclog it.

④ Clean the nozzle, install back to the original place, tighten the bolt, pay attention to the direction of the nozzle to maintain the same before dismantling and cleaning.

6.The wind knife drying area of the cleaning and adjustment

Cleaning machine last tank is filled with heated (temperature at 45 ℃ or so) of high purity water, so attached to the glass surface of the original piece of water stains in the drying area after entering the wind knife can be blown away under the action of high wind and evaporation. The wind knife blade and the plane where the glass original piece is at a certain acute angle, every time you disassemble the wind knife or change its position, we must pay attention to measure the angle and keep it constant.

①Clean up the glass chips, labels, paper clips and other dirt in the drying area, and wipe the wind knife, roller conveyor and other parts with a clean cotton cloth to ensure cleanliness.

② Remove both the primary filter plate and the secondary filter bag for the fan, blow out the dust inside with compressed air in reverse, check for breakage or clogging, and replace them regularly.

③ Probe into the wind knife mouth with a saw blade to check whether there are filter bag fibers and other debris clogging the knife mouth.

As long as regularly and carefully in accordance with the above procedures for the maintenance and repair of the entrance cleaning machine, in the process of normal circumstances, can ensure a greater degree of cleaning effect of the original glass piece, to ensure the stability of the quality of coated glass products.
